WEAVE was founded in1990 to help women achieve greater power, rights and opportunities in their communities. To implement these goals, we work directly with women’s organizations with in ethnic minority communities (in refugee camps, Migrant and IDP communities). We firmly believe that encouraging the leadership of women and the development of their status benefits the entire community. We assist these organizations to become empowered, self-reliant, and to fully participate in their communities’ social and political lives. Our programs focus on Child Development and Women’s Capacity Development.
